The Cave began with a simple conviction: that the best bread is made slowly, with care, and shared generously. Our bakers arrive before dawn each day to shape, proof, and bake from scratch.
What started as a corner oven has grown into Evansville’s destination for sourdough that crusts right, croissants that shatter, and a grocery counter stocked with local staples and hard-to-find ingredients.
We source from regional farms and mills wherever possible. Every loaf, every pastry, every jar on the shelf is chosen the same way we’d choose for our own table.
